How the five step X-ray Management Program functions:
      1. The x-ray files will be purged and packaged by hospital-trained professionals to reduce the strain and stress on hospital personnel. Files are transferred to the XMP warehouse for storage.

      2. X-ray files are data entered upon arrival to the warehouse, validating the final database. The database is provided for the hospital to ensure the reliability of the system. Misfiles are virtually eliminated with the data entry process. Pediatric files and mammograms are separated for their longer retention requirements.

      3. X-ray files are managed as an active file system in a secured operations system meeting or exceeding HIPAA/JCAHO standards.

      4. XMP has a longstanding reputation for accuracy and efficiency. Most files are located within a 30-minute time frame and can be transmitted directly to the hospital through T-1 Broadband connection or have hard copies returned next day through UPS.

      5. XMP will purge and destroy all files exceeding statutory retention schedule, upon hospital verification, according to EPA hazardous materials guidelines and HIPAA privacy standards.
